As from this edition, eHighlights is expanding its news coverage to include the world of minerals processing. With the last few years' acquisitions of minerals and materials handling activities, the FLSmidth Group is now a leading One Source provider of engineered solutions to both the cement and the minerals industries worldwide.

The spring edition of eHighlights reports on some of the recent contracts awarded to us by both industries and also gives a summary of the technologies we offer the two markets. The world's leading building materials producer, Lafarge, has ordered its largest cement kiln line in North America, whilst Aurox is the first mining company to adopt FLSmidth Minerals' new One Source - One Partner model for its Balla Balla magnetite iron ore project in Western Australia.
